Abdo Development is a District of Columbia based real estate development and investment company that has a long-standing reputation as a pioneering, innovative developer and owner of high-end residential, commercial, and retail development. Every project has a smart growth component, forcing consumers to look towards the urban core through adaptive reuse of historic properties.  

In 2017, Abdo Development shifted its focus towards hospitality ventures and investments in privately held companies.  The Company created and developed the first micro room hotel in the District of Columbia with its launch of Hotel Hive.  In addition, Abdo Development has diversified its investments and ownership portfolio to include data center locations in Virginia and internationally, industrial properties in Maryland and additional single tenant high credit tenant properties in the District of Columbia metro area.  As part of this diversification, the company is also partnered in multiple food and beverage ventures as well as other specialized industry ventures.

To date, the company has completed over thirty  development projects, totaling nearly one billion dollars and approximately two million square feet, and has received critical acclaim from both the community and the press for its responsible approach to development and is considered a leader in the renewal of urban historic districts and beyond.
